Sapporo Snow Festival 2010 2D1N: Let the journey begins!

I am such a pain in the ass... I know! Promised to post something about Sapporo Snow Festival before I left Niseko. The thing is I have so much to pack and farewell to attend... Everyone in Hokkaido Tracks made me felt *so touched* - Will post all my pictures in these few days because currently in Tokyo has internet access.

So coincident that Matt and Romayne having their day off same days as us. The pre-planning of this Sapporo Snow Festival needs negotiation! Was asking my boss to give us 2 same days off. Though cannot go during the opening ceremony ='( In Japan, everything need to book in advanced! In Malaysia, everything is last minute =p who knows my last minute habit will change? =p

Matt bought a second hand car in Japan. And he planned to drive all the way down to Sapporo. Good for that =) Andrew and Risa tagged along too! All we need to pay for Matt is petrol because taking bus to Kutchan station and from Kutchan station to Sapporo Station is more expensive.

Was browsing CM's sis facebook and saw CM's 22nd birthday pictures. 9 months that he is away from us... I still remember his 22nd birthday I purposely called him up to wish him but the call din last for 2 mins. He sounded exhausted and soft over the phone~

I bet he had a wonderful birthday that day! We always talk about coming back to Japan and travel together. And now I am doing my internship in Japan. His dream place...

Otaru 2D1N Trip Part 2 Coming to the end~

Finally this is the final post of my Otaru trip! Spent so much time to choose picture, arrange them in orders and upload one by one. Kinda crazy. Will post Snow Festival Pictures before I leave staff house for my incoming trip.

Cant believe it! I am here in Niseko for 4 months! Outside is still snowing though is already spring~ But I am so lazy to snowboard or skiing nowadays because no more local free shuttle bus to go to the lift.

Ok back to my post entry! I really ate too much for just lunch and snack from the previous snack. The best way to digest all of them is to continue my journey and keep WALKING! Otaru is like Toulouse or Melaka town, you can walking back and forth in the same street or area...

Along the Otaru canal, spotted artists painting the scenery. How I wish I could draw as good as them. Hmmm... think again, is been awhile that I draw.

Painting on the glass is interesting. But to buy the painting in Msia is very expensive for just one colour =( Does anyone knows where can I get cheaper painting material?

You may find many restaurant just located right across the Otaru canal s. But... Awww... is all closed during the day =(

Then, I found this gigantic Takoyaki! Amazing. Japan Boleh juga!

Born as an Asian, think like an asian, act like asian and travel like an asian... so I opt to do something related to Otaru. I am buying an experience and souvenir home for myself! XD So I decided to do something with glass since Otaru is famous for it~ There are many other course you could try in the glass retail shop such as making accessories, lamp, candle holder, vase, etc. All sort of ideas! Triggering your creativity!

All we need to do is stick the colour glass onto the candle holder. Then need to wait the glue to dry in about 3 hours? So while waiting for it to dry... we planned to discover other places.

I saw this glass making shop recommended by the travel guide I had. It looks fun but will take up lotsa time too.

It was still quiet hard to walk with normal sports shoe. Almost fall down all the time.

Joanne went into to a shop then only I realized is what my Japanese supervisor recommended - Rokkatei! Another famous brand in Hokkaido besides Shiroi Koibito. Bought some souvenirs from my family. Hope my bro didnt finish my chocolate!

I slept all the way from Otaru to Kutchan in the train. Took us about 2 hours to get home. After that, got onto the Kutchan Free Night Go bus - just in time! And finally got home!

Otaru 2D1N Trip Part 2 Things that we can't resist

I will try to update my blog as much as I can within this week because next week or the following month will not have internet access or time to update... going to travel around Japan for 3 weeks and stopover at Seoul, Korea for 1 week. The stopover fees is quite cheap tho, like MYR82 and I could just travel around. Maybe next time you could do that for yourself... then design your own itinerary ;)

Japanese cuisine is well known around the world. But this ain't just sushi ok? =) There are many other food could be offered. Just like confectionery!!!

LeTao I found it every where in Hokkaido, not sure it got branch or not in Tokyo or Nagoya... haven't have the chance to try it myself. One thing surprise me is.. the shop has takkyubin service (delivery service) within Japan itself -_-" Im imagining... if I purposely deliver keropok lekor all the way from Terengganu to Kuala Lumpur... just feel weird and no idea why. Well Japanese love to do takkyubin service for anything and that's those courier company or service is thumbs up!

Another thing we can't resist are window shopping and camwhoring. I look like cancer patient T.T getting fairer each day during my stay in Japan. Enjoying the winter and the snow without the sun for 4 months... and this is what am I becoming~

And then is LUNCH TIME. Just walked into one of the shopping mall and found a random restaurant and had this...

Tempura Soba - is healthy and tasteless at the same time. Oh well, that's soba

The server has difficulties to take order from us and we had no idea how to read the Japanese menu. So the solution is look at those food display and pick which one you wanna order.

We came to another 'Lou Zi Hou' at the popular street. He only serves one type of confectionery - Bread with Red Bean Paste. How should I describe it? Kinda hard to explain. Perhaps pictures could tell you better~

The maker or owner of the shop. The first time we came, have to wait for 30 minutes for his preparation. He was preparing the batter and red bean paste - Japanese = perfectionist? We left because we were running outta time. But this time we wait patiently, just to try!

I am not sure how old is this shop and for me, this is very authentic. Check out the interior design. The shop is pass down by generation. I assumed he is the 2nd generation... not sure if anyone or his son will continue his career? Is quite difficult these days~

Otaru 2D1N Trip Part 2 Ohayo Otaru!

I am just taking my own sweet time to get myself ready for the 2nd day trip... enjoyed the simple breakfast prepared by the hotel and check out at 10am.

Just dont like to rush everything... traveling should be relaxing and not rush to see as much as attraction you can cover. Like this you wont be able to enjoy the tour and make you like dont know how to appreciate things surrounding you. Am I right?

Otaru 2D1N Trip Part 1 Dinner Time

First tip to have a nice time while traveling:

Always ask the local where to eat, when to go and where to go~ Don't be like the Singaporean. Dont ask "which is the BEST?" This is the question I always got for SG and HK guests. Haih, Asian culture and I know I am a Chinese too.

I was searching for the restaurant recommended by Eisuke because I couldnt locate Mutsumi's recommended restaurant. And so coincident I bumped into the restaurant in the cold cold night.

This restaurant patronized by local. I have to queue up! Luckily just the 2 of us dining else have to wait longer for seats.

The name of the restaurant is Waraku

Sushi set - good idea if we all have party, this sushi set will come in handy!

Waraku is a sushi conveyed belt restaurant. *Why the guy look at like one kind? I am not camwhore. I am promoting this restaurant in case someone read my blog and looking for where to eat in Otaru =p*

do you realize the difference between Japanese sushi and the one we have in Malaysia?

In Japan, the ingredient is more than the rice ball; In Malaysia, we have more rice than the ingredient.

This is what I would to say: What an accomplishment! We wanted to achieve 20 plates but we failed!hahahaha. Only 16 plates and I surrendered.

PS: guess how much we spent? is less than 100MYR per person k? Though is considered quite ex when converted into MYR. For Japanese, Hokkaido sushi is the cheapest in Japan!

Otaru 2D1N Trip Part 1 Sightseeing

My apologies that couldnt upload in time. And not sure the following month will I upload as frequent as these days. I was busy doing research for my 1 month travel around Japan trip. Like doing my assignment T.T arranging routing, accommodation and especially transportation and cost which the craziest part!

Will tell you next time how to travel in another affordable way from airlines to accommodation. Transportation is inevitable unless u have Japanese friend who willing to spend on you =p

Ok, back to my Otaru trip! All I can Otaru is famous for its glass making history and the unique architecture! Tourism is a wonderful industry and easy money making industry if managed efficiently. Just like Otaru... they listed out 71 old buildings in the town. For tourist like me, will make sure myself this-is-a-must-see! =p

Not the whole of Otaru is covered by snow like this. Else it will be very hard to walk when I wear Adidas. Snow clearing system is better than Niseko I could say.

Otaru Light Festival in conjunction with Sapporo Snow Festival. I dont have the time to go this year because lack of time. But if in the future I would like to go to Otaru again. Simply in love with this city. Laid back but still have shopping complex and cinema to cater to a city girl like me.hahaha.

While on our way to the Otaru canal, I found this ice-cream shop recommended by my travel guide book. My 6th sense told me it might not as nice as its mentioned. I still like the desert shop after my lunch and dont wanna trust the book anymore - cheated my love!

Time for lunch! I am so hungry because took quite some time to look for the accommodation and luckily there was a nice gentleman showing me the way. And now I am trying to look for a good restaurant recommended by the travel guide book I bought in Malaysia.

I am quite perasan or you should comment I am just being quite overwhelmed of myself. I made a hotel booking with my broken Japanese. Overall I just wanna say I am happy with my random choice of accommodation. The feeling is like surprise - you never know what you gonna get!

The total price of my accommodation is JPY3500 per person included breakfast!

I am sorry peeps for not updating my blog for quite some time again because I was rushing to do my internship report. Was worrying the hell outta me. Worried that I cant graduate same time as my friend; will I be penalized? these questions kept playing in my mind...

Sorted it all out finally~ *Cross finger* I will pass with flying colour and posting my convo picture in the blog! (^.^)Y or that's why I had the weird dream bitten by snake... maybe someone caused it to, you-know-who-you-are =p

Just warning you, this will be a super duper long post. Too many pictures of sightseeing and my camwhore to tell you how amazing was the trip!

Christmas just finished not long ago and before CNY comes - things start getting busy and crazy. I decided that we go to a short excursion @ a nearby city - Otaru. Abit of facts about Otaru before I confused you ;)

Bad or Good Dream

I just had a dream bitten by a snake and out of no where Greg was carrying me and running towards the hospital. Then, I blacked out in my dream maybe because of the poison. That's the moment I opened my eyes back to the reality...

Just checked out the meaning of my dream too.

The real sushi! I meant there's a chef made the sushi in front of you. Fresh ingredient.

Another random outing with Matt, Romayne and Eiko. It was my first sushi after I arrived Japan for one month. Took the Free Night Go bus which only took us about 20 minutes to the Kutchan town.I've been wanted to try this restaurant quite some time. Everyone in the staff house said thumbs up! How could I resist from yummy food?

Today is her big day. I purposely swapped shift with Yumi so that we could have dinner @ Kutchan. A restaurant recommended by Mut-chan aka Mutsumi. I always annoys her by calling her Mimi-chan =p

That day is also our staff house usual grocery shopping trip as well. Cepat cepat go home and get a chance follow others shopping together too. Free ride to Kutchan is the BEST. Traveling around Niseko is quite difficult for ppl like me without a car and the weather is negative all the time~

And we bought lotsa food again.......................

Luckily Matt willing to drop us somewhere nearby the restaurant district. Actually I have no idea how to get there at all! I asked Matt to drop us at the wrong direction T.T

Seek SOS at Post Office. If dont know any Japanese is really hard to communicate. Then, FINALLY WE MADE IT! together with 3 BIG BAGS of victory (our grocery bags).

Japan has a good manner of culture. Everytime anyone or whoever drop off from the bus will say Arigatou gozaimasu = thank you. In Malaysia, nobody give a damn.

After 5 days of work, finally it comes my days off! I'm the lucky ones who got day off on the weekend. Others have to work during weekend. So I will be quite lonely in the staff house. Sometimes I like the silence in the house which means I can play loud music - my fave music. *Nobody like Ed kept complaining songs I listened to*

Ed is sometimes pain the arsssssss! Stop bullying me! Like yesterday I was washing my breakfast bowl at the sink and he was brushing his teeth. Outta sudden he just spitted into my bowl. We were on the same shift too. Coincident Richard dropped by at staff house with his gf and car. They were on their way to snow boarding. Rich gave us a lift to office. But the car left one seat because of snow gear. No choice I have to sit on him.....

Ed: Darling, come sit on me.
SY: -_-"
Rich: Ed, dont you eract. HAHAHA.

Nah, I didnt sit on him. He was standing up the whole time. EnglishBOY is quite gentlemen sometimes and darling too. If I really need help, he would lend a hand. At least at a foreign country, I dont feel outcast.

Yumi - skipped the intro. She is working at the late shift. So we agreed to meet at Family Pair to ski. But she convinced me to try another course. I said ok because I am confidence enough to try another one too.

Is very snowy. The snow is powdery. That's what Niseko famous for. Niseko is the 2nd highest snowfall ski resort! How priviledge am I?

Then I skied down to Family Pair and Yumi went to other course. I cant afford to follow her anymore. Family Pair could let me practise my turning.

Frankly speaking, Family Pair is the easiest run and has the nicest view

Can you see the ice on my scarf? I wish I have neck warmer to cover my face. Is pain and cold... the snow and ice blew on my face made my face felt so numb.

Proudly present - I owned nothing except the goggle and beanie for only JPY500 =p Glove is where Tim found it somewhere and gave them to me. Ski jacket and pants borrowed from managing director. Ski boots left by some guest - she dont want it anymore cause is broken and so coincident it fits my size tho one size bigger.

So I am going to tour you guys around Japan onsen since no one in the pool

Male and female is separated in onsen. Some onsen have private or mix.

etiquette while you're in onsen

coin locker just 100 yen and could be refund - as long as you dont lost the key

Basket just to put your clothes. Ok, what most Japanese does is... just undress in the room and leave the clothes in the basket. Not in a bathroom.

Then just go to the onsen with your shampoo and body soap. After cleaning yourself only go to the pool. Unfortunately I couldnt show you guys how the onsen look like. There are a number of ppl in the onsen and if I took out the camera.. I look like someone who is pervert.

I soaked myself for like an hour. Sounded crazy right? the onsen was 41 degree celsius! My body not that tired anymore.

Bye bye Yukoro Onsen *is just 5pm and skies getting dark*

And I starting to get hungry... tonight have dinner outside with Joanne @ Tsubara Tsubara Dinner. Cant wait! I am craving for something spicy! And Leila joined us as well!

The restaurant serves level 1 to level 20 soup curry with different topping and dishes and style. Others just ate level 3 and level 5. When I told the waitress that I wanted level 8. She was stoned. Level 8 just nice, ok? Imagine Ash or Cindy is here? I think they can create history.

Overdue post 2: Sapporo One Day Trip

I am so sorry another overdue post. It was not long ago too la~like more than 2 months? =p

Sapporo day trip was suggested by Leila and Eisuke was excited about it that time. First attempt was failed because we missed the bus thus missed the train as well. Second attempt, so coincident Michael's evil twins is here in Japan! And here we are...

The whole journey I was so tired and sleep all the way because the day before need to worked and now woke up early just to catch the train. After 2 hours and 30 minutes....

Then go to watch movie. FYI, just now the food court and this cinema all in one building Sapporo JR Tower. There are about 11 floor in a building. underground just the subway and can link you to anywhere you wanted to. Besides that, they are having a ongoing project. underground shopping mall. Maybe the next time I come back will see it for myself!

Not fair! so coincident that day was man's day. And all the guys got discount for movie ticket!

Then I took out my taylor's student ID which is expired (I know the Japanese wouldnt understand =p knowing they will just give us discount). JPY1500 to watch a movie in Japan is expensive but the experience is value for movie. Also, the movie lasted for 3 hours. So everything is worth it!

Restaurant Review: A-Bu-Cha 1

A-Bu-Cha 1 is a quite established restaurant in Hirafu. They expanded their business to another branch A-Bu-Cha 2 just located opposite of the road. 1 is emphsizing on traditional ambience while 2 into a cosy and modern atmosphere.

One of the famous Izakaya in Hirafu. Is like a must try in Japan. I always help guest to make restaurant booking at Front Desk. My colleague and manager also kept telling me how good is the restaurant. And now I wanna try it myself to rate how A-Bu-Cha like...

I didnt even bother to make reservation for myself. Just wanna try my luck to walk in and see if there's any seat available for me.

So lucky only counter seats are available for us.

Let's see what we've got? Flipping through the menu. Most of the food quite expensive. Hmmmm.... Dont feel like ordering anymore -_-" The price is likie TGIF.

My virgin ski lesson

Hokkaido Tracks works together with NISS (Niseko International Snowsports Snow) to provide skiing or snowboarding lesson for anyone from kids to adult, from beginning to advanced and from group to individual lesson.

As a token of appreciation, they gave HT staff free a group lesson and there goes how did I ended up skiing here. Not only a free lesson skiing lesson, also ski gear equipment rental. Awesome! *Australian love to say that*

Had to get up early to go try out the equipment at DEMO - the equipment rental outlet.

The weather was very windy and snowy that day. I was forced to buy a goggle. so expensive. Just realized I bought JPY 1000 extra = MYR 38.90 more expensive than I should be. DEMO is really a cut throat outlet. sigh. That time I know nothing about skiing... so no choice.

New Year Eve in Niseko

This is my 2nd time celebrating New Year Eve in Japan. 1st time was a very traditional ones,following the Japanese and then go to the shrine to pray.

And now I am here in Niseko. I am experiencing Australian way not Japanese. Party and drinking~ 31st Dec I am the only one in the office who get day off in the busiest day =) lucky me.But when having off alone is quite lonely tho. The only entertainment I could have here is skiing or go to onsen. That's all~

Every where is having countdown. Another staff house - Mount Merry. I am too lazy to walk there. Instead, I walked to Paddy's waiting for ALL-YOU-CAN-DRINK for JPY3000.But I din pay any...whoever is paying.They share theirs with mine. Then the tauke of Paddy's kept asking me for money.Matt defended me =p we all act dunno anything~phew.....

I am going to slowly update one by one the happening events in Japan.

Tonight just a random night. Friend cancelled dinner cause she torn her ligamen because of skiing - landing at the wrong position. Just another common sports injuries. *touch wood* I dont want anything happened to me. I always take the lift up alone. If anything happened to me... hope other riders or skiers will lend me a hand to call ski patrol.

Everyone in the house went to Wild Bill's again for the final competition - Dart's Night. No outing tonight. Too cold. *right next to the heater now~* =)

In HTH, we provide guest services like booking of airport transfer, lift ticket, equipment rental, lesson, welcome pack and baby sitting.

Andrew works as Guest Service aka maintenance, taxi driver and replying emails to guest. Let say if guest dunno how to use TV, washing machine etc. He is the one will go down and help them. Driver when guest arrives at Welcome Centre (somewhere like KL Sentral) and go to meet and greet them. Sometimes also send me to work if we work early shift.

Leila is the baby sitter. Time quite flexible. But sometimes have to work til very late...

So what Joanne and I did in Front Desk? Super women - pick up phone calls, solve all sort of problem when the guest waiting at Front Desk, replying emails...

Next time will introduce more leng chai from my house ;)

Ok,back to my normal updates about living in Niseko> I was telling myself since I dont ski as much as my house mates - enthusiast and passionate for snow boarding or skiing, should explore the restaurants around the ski resort. Working in Front Desk always recommend in-house guest where about nice restaurants. I need to try out on my own!

So, GENGHIS KHAN is in our very A-list! Some of my colleagues told me there was special promotion JPY1,000 all-you-can EAT! At first I wasnt very keen to go because too cold out there. that time havent adjusted to weather here. All I ever wanted is near to the heater =p

So so so sorry again taken such a long time to update my blog. This post I think took me a month to post it up. I am just plain lazy. After work, I will go home day dreaming - dont wanna face computer screen again. had too much in office.

Introduction to Niseko, Japan

I am so sorry previously putting my blog in private and causing inconvenience to others who trying to read. Just feel like needed a quiet moment for few months.

So here I am. Previously went for 3 times interview of my Japan internship and now I am here. I thought of is better to give everyone a better idea of where am I located.

Please refer to the map below:

I am currently staying in a destination - Niseko. It is famous for the snow powder ski. Heard it from the tourist aka skier and colleagues said that the snow here better to ski than France and Australia.I dont know how to ski but will try to learn in 3 months.Not only that, is famous for the Youtei Mountain.

Ok. This picture not I took one. I grabbed it from google image. I havent find a right timing to take the mountain myself cause is been snowy and vision is blur.

So Niseko = Melaka in Malaysia. Otaru = Seremban. Sapporo = Kuala Lumpur. Is accessible by Japan Railway and there are shuttle buses.So literally I am stucked in Niseko like when I am in Kuala Kangsar. The only entertainment we can have here is skiing, snowboarding, drinking beer and partying. I will be missing window shopping and eating Malaysia fooooooooooood! I sounded like a city girl right?

There are alot of nice Japanese restaurants around. Just tried one of them - Gengis Khan. Will show the picture next post =) So my next target will be trying to taste as many restaurant I could here. My main entertainment =p

I began to wonder... there's something fated to be happened no matter good ones or bad ones.

Well well, I have good news to you and myself of course! I am going to Japan for internship. But it has to be minimum of 4 months. Now, I know how is it feels like to be away from Malaysia... will be missing everyone because I am going to miss Xmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. missing all the fun and joy. And this escapade maybe is my new chapter of life. I wish I could have a happier life there and last chapter of my misery....

Bad ones... Hmmmm... I hope you will be keeping part of me with you. Numb and fragile... this is all I can describe the situation now. When hope is gone, what is there to hold on to? I dont know what's the best for myself anymore. And then, I chose running away as my best option.

PS: I felt accomplishment for small lil things I did for myself...

Morphine

I am still keeping the msg that Chee Mun msg me.He said to me,he wanna tell me the truth. So the truth is he already at the morphine stage.(I cant imagine the pain he is taking.The last stage in cancer.) Then he asked me whether he should continue the chemo (with all the pain he had to suffer) or just wait for the time to time...time to end. From that onwards, I know his time will end,never thought of will be that soon...

And I was thinking tat I'm at the morphine stage too,right now.The feeling is so numb instead of pain.I realized the truth behind the lie (or I shall say 'things shouldn't have let me know,else it will hurt me') or the truth that came later...

The lost of Chee Mun...losing a listener and someone I can rely on since last time.I really miss him so much now...someone that I can talk to and talk until cry over the phone last time. I think I'm gonna write him a super duper long letter to him and burn it this Sunday (dunno whether can I do that anot?).I hope he can hear me because I am really tired keeping it to myself. Hope after writing to him, then he will come into my dream again?telling me some crappy joke and light up my day.er...sound kinda spooky =p

Finally I got to go to Tenji Restaurant!!! Tried more than 5 times to make reservation there still couldn't get it. I tried my luck yesterday and cant believe I made it through.hahaha. Sri Hartamas is like a death city when it comes to public holiday. I guess tat comes my luck =)

Booked for supper from 9.30pm until 12.30am.crazy huh?but it was fun tho celebrating merdeka eve this way.

Continued with the VOLUME project! Finalized the poster... making sure voucher is ready. So lil time,so many things to do.Have to rush rush rush then go to Park Royal to work. That's why I hate holidays. My parents wouldnt let me escape from working for them.

I found it out after reading Wei Chee's blog. She lost the battle to leukemia. Eryna, I dunno her well in person but I bet she must someone strong and brave. Is not easy to take all the treatment for leukemia.

Checked out her faecbook profile, Farah left her the poeam entitled "A Thousand Drop". It made me cried. It reminds me of Chee Mun.

I'm sure both of them in somewhere without anymore pain and happy.

I applied my internship placement in Thailand but bad news strike me - I couldn't go. But I had interview for Japan internship on Thursday, a simple ones and now waiting for result - what would it be?

I was thinking if I got to go to Japan...will it be a brand new life? I needed one. I was emotionally attached past few days, been thinking alot - searching for an answer to myself or I already know the answer just don't know how to accept it. Guess I got the most terrible look on Monday in my entire degree life.

Friends around me been asking me, are you ok?are you alright?

My answer is yeah, I'm ok.No worries. I was answered reluctantly and I admit it. Please dont blame me for that. Waiting the time to come... the time to end - just few more months. When it ends, will I be happier than now?

PS: my answer is say what you need to say and let it go...

R.I.P Moong Chee Mun

If you been reading my blog... Chee Mun is my dearest and my so called hubby. Simply because we were quite close after Youth Exchange and always hang out together.

Is been more 2 weeks I didnt receive any sms from him and couldn't get him through the phone. I began to wonder and worried. Until just now called up Callum to see whether could contact his mum anot to ask about him. Then, Callum told when he googled Moong Chee Mun and there's result of R.I.P Moong Chee Mun. I couldn't believe wat he said until I googled as well and linked me to Roberta's blog, heard about her from Chee Mun.What a small small world. I was the girl with Chee Mun that day when she bumped into us in One Utama when he still with his messy long hair.

Just feeling regret in life and life's too short. I got a letter to him but didn't give it to him, feeling guilty and sorry that I didnt pick up his phone call because I was attending a career talk,to go our so called honeymoon holiday to Singapore or Thailand (we talked about it ambitiously).... and now I started to miss his teasing, jokes and corrupted mind (I just found out...he is not pure anymore.haha) that made me in a total speechless mode at times.

The day he was ready to tell the truth - he got cancer. There was a silence moment between us. I don't know wat to say. Just stunned there. Always acting strong in front of him and hold my tears so he couldn't see it. I tried my best not to ask any chemotherapy side effect in my sms and be as normal days as I can. Thanks to him becoming my good listener - listening to all my stories in college and relationship. And we used to talk for more than an hour, both of us just so talkative and updating each other.

I always have faith in him fighting with cancer and hoping one day I could go out with him again.Sometimes I felt his pain by the way he told me thru sms bout the side effects. Hope that he could recover and back to normal life then graduate his diploma that he always wanted to.

Sometimes I believe in fate that brought us together. We were in the same group during Orientation for youth exchange.

And then, so coincident sitting next to each other on our way back to KL

In return, I handmade him a cake cause I dont know how to bake cake. I still remember his surprised face knowing me being the 'dai siu jie' back home can SEW.

Don't worry I'm not being emo or what>> Just that yesterday went to Jasmine's house before going to Bon Odori and copied this song from her. Don't know why these days liking those 90's songs. I found it very meaningful and at least younger than someone is listening to 70's =p

Guess I'm acting like a Santa Claus.haha. Bon Odori = wearing my yukata. I got this yukata from my host family in Japan.The best souvenir I ever had.

I was struggling to wear it!!! The way I wear also incorrect =p Desperately, youtube it to see how the Japanese wear. But still failed. Salutation to those girls that can wear t-shirt or tudung with yukata!!! I can't. This is freaking HOT.

Kinda sad can't go Bon Odori with my babes... Kang and Reen. Can we go again next year? I make sure I wear it the right way =p

Surprise! Surprise! Who I saw there?

VINCENT because he is like the Paris Tower in Malaysia. Addition, wearing the light green shirt and blonde hair XD Can't take my eyes off him. The hotel student brought him and the gf along. Woot, the gf is really a hot chick! Wish I have alil of her features. Every time he sees me, the thing he could ask me is... you wanna dance? Aiyo... the last time, I danced with him is enough embarassed!!! I asked him whether joining the big group of ppl dancing the cultural dance? He refused cause he said he felt pressure because of his height if he make a mistake when he dance =p This French guy is more famous than the Japanese... all the guys and girls kept asking whether they could take picture with him? And he blend into the Asian culture well... whenever he takes any picture, never forget showing the 'PEACE' -_-"

I know what I heard is true. No matter what, I will just kept brainwashing myself with NO. Sounds pessimistic.

It was real. It happened. But I can't afford to dream about it.

The only thing playing in my mind is what my good friend told me, "You're someone lucky, God only take a small part away from u".
